1/4 cup flour (30 g)
1/4 cup sugar (50 g)
2 tablespoons (13 g) cocoa
Pinch of salt
Tiny pinch of cinnamon(optional)
1/4 cup water (60 ml)
2 tablespoons (30 ml) melted butter
A scoop of ice cream or 1 or 2 teaspoons whipping cream
Let's get to work!
1. Add all dry ingredients to the mug and stir: Place flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and cinnamon in a microwave-safe ceramic mug or stainless steel mug(if heating is done without over). Stir with a fork or spoon to mix well. 2. Add the wet ingredients and stir: Add the butter, and water to the cup and stir until you get a smooth mixture. 3. Heating in the microwave: Place in microwave and heat on high until the mixture is cooked through, about a 1 minute and 40 seconds for a 1000 watt microwave, or 1 minute 10 seconds on a 1650 watt microwave. NOTE: If you don't have an oven, you can heat it in a cooker filled 1/4th with Salt and place the mug in the center. Heat it for 15 mins! 4. Ice cream Topping! Allow it to cool for a minute and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a teaspoon or two of whipping cream poured over.
There you go. Your Chocolate mug cake is ready to be served!
